JACKS and KNOBS
Frequency Knob
Sets the frequency of the oscillator.
Fine Knob
Adjusts the oscillator frequency in detail.
Pulsewidth Knob
Adjust the pulse width of the pulse wave (rectangular wave).
Pulse width modulation attenator
It is an attenuator of CV to Pulse Width Modulation on the right.
FM Knob
Attenuator of FM CV from Linear FM and FM2 on the right.
Wave Shaper Input
Depending on the CV input here, the output sine wave and triangular wave change in waveform, and can produce a more harmonically rich waveform.
Outputs
Oscillator output. From the top is a sine wave, triangle wave, sawtooth wave, and square wave (pulse wave).
Mode Switch
This switch changes the display mode. The default is frequency counter mode, which always displays the frequency.
Press the button once to enter note mode. In addition to the frequency, when you reach the frequency of the scale, the scale is displayed. The scale of sharp is displayed with "." Between C and 2, such as "C.2".
Press the button again to enter octave mode.
1V / Oct Input
This is a CV input that specifies the pitch of the oscillator.
External Input
By inputting the output of another oscillator here, you can display the frequency and scale of that oscillator. For accurate frequency measurements, use a sawtooth wave for input.
Sync Input
Input the sawtooth or pulse wave output of the master oscillator used for the oscillator sync here.
Hard Sync Modulation
In Hard Sync Modulation, any sound can be input as the master sound used for syncing, and the Z3000 synchronizes to that sound.
Pulse Width Modulation
CV input to control pulse width
FM1 Input
FM1 input for CV control of oscillator frequency.
Linear FM Input
Linear FM input for CV control of oscillator frequency. Linear FM has a milder effect than other FM1 and FM2 FMs, and it is relatively easy to control dissonance. You can control the strength with the left attenuator.
FM2 Input
FM2 input for CV control of oscillator frequency. You can control the strength with the left attenuator.
Display
Displays the frequency / scale / octave according to the mode.
