Elektron Model: Samples

Model: Samples is a 6 track, sample based groove box. It has many features, including a sequencer that Elektron is proud of. Also comes with samples and patterns of higher quality than at the time of shipment, you can quickly create a groove alone. Adding original samples is also very easy.

 Unlike most Elektron machines, Model: Samples has only one function (parameter) assigned to each knob, making operation more intuitive. Each track can also be used as a MIDI track, not audio, and can also be used as a MIDI sequencer for sounding external devices. It weighs less than 1kg and is very easy to carry.

Major features

• With the “Control All” function, you can make great changes to your sound. Subsequent reloads return to the starting state.
• Use parameter locks to automate parameters. Each step can be a completely different sound.
• As with the kit, you can load six samples at a time. Ideal for creating patterns using parameter lock or LFO. With six new samples loaded, you can quickly experiment and get unique and unexpected results.
• Compose bass lines and melodies using chromatic mode.
• New Chance parameter. Chance sets the probability that the track's sequencer step will be triggered. Using Chance with the "Control All" feature together can produce a variety of interesting and unexpected results.
• You can record a sequence with or without quantization. Steps can apply micro timing by controlling individual swings per track.
