DVCA is a two-channel digital control VCA that packs easy-to-use features for 4HP. Cv can also be processed with DC coupling. All signal paths are analog, but by adding digital to the processing of control signals, it has various useful functions. It also reacts well to fast envelopes.

DVCA consists of two VCAs, and both channelsZero cross detection modeCan be switched to. In zero-cross detection mode, the input audio starts to operate cv when it is just 0V, so you can significantly reduce the click sound that enters the attack, such as in the envelope of an early attack.

In addition to the zero-cross detection function, CH A also has bias (gain amount at CV=0V) and CV attenuators. Also, in trigger mode (selected in "TR" position), the input CV is updated when the gate is entered into the UPD A jack and holds its CV value until the next gate enters (sample and hold function). This is useful when you want to change the volume of each trigger, such as velocity. In addition, when CH A is in bipolar VCA mode by switch, the initial gain becomes 0 when BIAS is in the middle, and it can be used as a bipolar VCA and ring modulator. CH B is a little simplified control, but it operates independently as a standard VCA with zero-cross detection.
