Voltage Block is an eight independent 16-stage CV sequencer. Many performance features and preset storage functions make it a very flexible CV tool. The sequence is set by moving the slider in real time or by moving the slider while specifying the step with the step button at the bottom.
The sequence length and sequence direction can be set for each channel. In addition, there are various functions such as a quantization function for each channel, mute and randomize, etc., which can be easily accessed from each button (see the explanation of each part).
When combined with Varigate 8+ etc., it is possible to share clocks and presets (the other functions are the same for Voltage Block alone). To do so, it operates on the same power bus as Varigate 8+, and the voltage block switch is set to "Slave", no special connection is required.
Feature
8 channels, each channel 16 stage CV sequence
Record and recall presets
Slider movement can be recorded in real time
Quantize (and scale used) or non-quantize can be selected for each channel
Whether to smooth the change in CV between steps can be set for each step
Sequence step can be controlled by CV as well as clock
In CV mode, input CV can be offset or attenuated
Sequence length can be set from 1 to 16 for each channel
Clock division can be set for each channel in 1-16
Randomize all channels at each step
With Rst / Hold input
Sequence direction can be selected for each channel from forward, backward, round trip, random
With mute function
When connected to Varigate 8+, you can share the clock and increase the number of presets to 100. You can also combine presets
