MUSICAL FEATURES

Cs-L is a complex oscillator that combines two types of analog oscillators and boasts a wide variety of sounds. Unlike common complex oscillators, Cs-L has a wave folder for both oscillators. The upper and lower oscillators have different cores: the upper oscillator A is a saw (sawtooth wave) core, and the lower oscillator B is a triangle (triangular wave) core. Is also different for both oscillators. These structural differences and a wide variety of routing options allow for a much wider range of tones than traditional complex oscillators.

  • Oscillator A: An analog oscillator from Soucore. Five types of output are available: sine output, triangle wave output, sawtooth wave output, pulse wave output with pulse width control, and final output that has passed through a wave folder. In addition to the main folding amount, the wave folder can also control the symmetry by pot and CV. The speed can be switched to the LFO range with the button. FM can switch between linear and exponential. The Sync input causes a hard sync that resets the waveform.
  • Oscillator B: This is a triangle core analog oscillator. Five types of output are available: sine output, triangle wave output, pulse wave / sub octave output, double pulse wave output with pulse width control, and final output that has passed through a wave folder. In addition to the main folding amount, the wave folder can also control the symmetry by pot and CV. FM can switch between linear and exponential. The Sync input causes a reverse sync (soft sync) to invert the waveform.
  • Modulation bus: The modulation bus, one of the main functions of the complex oscillator, also operates with a unique mechanism of Cs-L. As you increase the Index knob from 0, the sine waves of oscillators A and B modulate the other oscillator. The modulation destination is selected by pressing another button while holding the button on the modulation bus. Multiple modulations can be performed simultaneously. Modulation destination settings are saved (only digital is used here) and can be restarted with the same settings.
  • Multiply output: From this output you will get a signal as if you multiplied oscillators A and B. The circuit to be multiplied can be selected from ring modulation (RING), AM, and rectifier circuit (RECT). The input to this circuit can be overwritten with another signal instead of an oscillator by a patch
  • Link button: By pressing this button, two oscillators can be tracked with one 1V / Oct input. If you are using a modulation bus to modulate between two oscillators, use Link to turn the pitch on while maintaining the waveform.
