MUSICAL FEATURES

The NTO is an analog oscillator that forms the core of the Serge system. It is characterized by a combination of vintage sound and high precision, and it also has variable output of variable waveform and portamento-capable 1V/Oct input. Many output waveforms can also be self-patched for use in the modulation of each parameter.

Random * Source collaborated with Serge to design and implement the original vintage sound using modern high-end parts.Compared to the original version, the Pulse output has been added.

About Serge
The Serge Modular was originally developed as a system with a different voltage and size than the eurolac, and now it is also eurolacized like this product, but there is also a unique decision about the Jack and the voltage to be used.
  • The range of voltages used is smaller than that of a regular eurolac module. In the case of oscillators, the upper and lower end of the voltage width is 10V(10Vpp)for normal eurolacs, while the Serge Euro is 4 to 6Vpp.Since the input to the filter, etc. are also designed to match the level, please use the booster and the attenuator of the signal as appropriate when you use it with other companies ' products.
  • In Serge, the expected voltage per Jack is represented by color.
    Red: Gate
    White:unipolar (0V or higher voltage)
Black: bipolar (0V or more, assuming a negative voltage)
As for the speed of the signal, it works at the rate of the audio rate and the CV in any jack, which is a feature of the Serge system.
