Wavefolder is based on the design of the Timbre section of a classic West Coast synthesizer. By itself, of course, you can further increase the width of the sound by mixing multiple waveforms, and there are a wide variety of metal sounds created by FM from other oscillators.
Feedback patch: Wave folder CV input and pulse width CV input can also produce new tone changes without affecting the pitch by inputting (feeding back) the waveform of Ts-L itself. For example, patching the pulse output to a wave folder CV changes the timbre, and all four controls affect the waveform. The amount of feedback can be controlled by CV when the VCA is inserted before patching to the wave folder CV.
