MUSICAL FEATURES

English Tear is a voltage regulation module in Eurorack format for seamless connection and conversion with Korg MS series synthesizers. For example, pitch control uses the Hertz per Volt (Hz / V) method in the MS series and 1V / Oct frequency control in the Eurorack.However, this module converts these signals without user adjustment, It can be used on each other's systems without any problems.

 There are five sections in all,
  • Two voltage processor sections that can attenuate, invert, and offset the input signal. Each output is internally connected to the converter described below. The first processor also has an additional input without attenuator.
  • Exponential converter: Receives Eurorack pitch control voltage and converts it to Korg Hz / V pitch voltage.
  • Logarithmic converter: Receives pitch voltage from Korg keys and converts it to 1V / Oct pitch voltage used by Eurorack oscillators.
  • Trigger / Gate Converter: Converts each system's trigger or gate signal to another system's trigger or gate signal.
