Repeat / ratchet function
Repeat is a function that stops at the same step for a specified number of times, and outputs a gate every clock when the gate is ON. Ratchet is a function that only one clock stays in one step, but repeatedly hits the gate a specified number of times during one clock.
To specify these, first press and hold the button for the step you want to specify a repeat or ratchet, release, and then
- Repeat: Press the step button corresponding to the number of times (if repeat three times, step 3 button)
- Ratchet: Long press the step button corresponding to the number of times

Clock division setting
The external clock can be divided and used as the clock for the sequence.
- / 2 divide, press and hold button 1 + 2
- Long press button 1 + 2 + 3 for divide of / 3
- For a / 4 divide, press and hold 1-4

Trigger / gate switching
By pressing and holding buttons 1 and 4, the output from GATE OUT can be switched by trigger or gate. When a gate is selected, the gate length is the same as the gate length of the input clock.
Adjust reset timing
In a sequencer, if a reset signal is input before the clock signal, it may start from step 2 when resetting. Therefore, Tirana II can add latency to the reset signal. To set the latency, turn on the power while pressing button 1,
- Latency = 0.35 ms
- Latency = 0.7 ms
- Latency = 1.4 ms (default)
- Latency = 2.8 ms

When chaining, remove the jumpers except for Tirana used as a master, and connect the units with the included 10-pin ribbon cable (supplied). The loop wire connecting the master and the final slave (red line below) is only required when chaining Tirana I (pre-2016 models) and Tirana II. (Tirana I is required to chain with Tirana II. A firmware update is required, please contact us for instructions). Clock / Reset / Transpose / Direction etc. patch to the jack of the master unit. Settings for each step are made using the knobs and buttons of each unit.
