The Sound of Thunder、Tyme Sefari MkIIIt is a powerful 8HP expander that adds various modes of operation and stereo input and output to the AMP.
All ON/OFF and state switching of each operation mode is done by a switch or a gate signal of 5V. You can switch the following modes.

- Format 1/2: a combination of 2 Switch/gate signals switches the number of bits and the algorithm for recording and playback.The correspondence between the combination and the format can be found on the panel.
- Pitch: the bold pitch shift effect is toggled on and off.You can also get a glitchy effect, or combine pitch shifting and feedback to create a crisp step-by-step pitch movement.
- Stereo Mode:when this is turned ON, the input / output of the right channel at the bottom of the Expander is enabled and Tyme Sefari becomes a stereo sampler.Audio storage time is halved when stereo.
- Bend1-4:this is a switch / gate input to cause an error in the internal data, address information, etc., which could only be obtained with circuit bending of the old digital synth.
