The E330 is a high-quality digital oscillator that switches between three synthesis modes. Various controls change their roles depending on the mode.

2op FM mode: This mode allows you to apply FM to the main oscillator using the built-in modulation oscillator (modulator). MOD A controls the FM intensity (index) and MOD B controls the modulator pitch. The pitch of the modulator is controlled as a ratio to the pitch of the main oscillator (carrier), and can be selected from 0: 1 to 7.875: 1 in 64 steps in 0.125 steps. For this reason, it is possible to synthesize a clear FM sound while maintaining the sense of pitch
Morph mode: Wavetable mode using 32 waveforms from the E350 wavetable. MOD A and MOD B control the output waveform of OUT 1 and OUT 2, respectively, and the transition of the waveform is smooth
Cloud mode: Outputs four detuned waveforms, similar to the E340 four-oscillator setting. MOD A and MOD B control the size and chaotic behavior of the detune. OUT 1 outputs a sine wave, and OUT 2 outputs a sawtooth wave.
