 Detect-Rx is an envelope follower that can be used in various ways. Outputs the volume change of the audio input to Detect-R as an envelope, and outputs a gate when the envelope exceeds the threshold (comparator). However, when the input is patched to Extract-R, the comparator can be used as an independent function.

 The input also supports line level, and the range can be switched with a switch. An ENV Gain control is provided to increase the envelope of low-level signals. The frequency range to which the envelope follower responds can also be switched with a switch.
