MUSICAL FEATURES
Chance is a unique digital random module. Outputrandom voltages based on four algorithms at the same time:
In addition to the main output, it includes Burst, analog white noise, digital noise, and rhythm output, which randomly changes Div/Mult. In addition, it is possible to freeze random changes temporarily by freezing button and gate input.
- Smooth Out: Voltage output by smooth algorithm. Move at the speed set by the Rate control in the lower left, against the voltage value newly set each time of the clock or Coin Toss button.
- Discrete Out: Voltage output by discrete algorithm. The voltage value that is newly set each time of the clock or Coin Toss button changes instantly.
- Wavetable Out: Voltage output by wavetable algorithm. Outputs an LFO with a random waveform and speed (synchronized to the clock) each time the clock or Coin Toss button. The waveform is either Cos/Tri/Ramp/Step Tri/Inv Tri/Inv Tri/Inv Step Tri, and the speed is chosen for /4, /2, /1, *2, *4 magnification.
- Blend Out: Voltage output by blend algorithm. The three algorithms of Smooth, Discrete, and Wavetable are output with a blended voltage using the middle knob.
