LxD (Low Strike Duo) is a low pass gate with different filter characteristics from Optomix. CH1 uses a 12dB / Oct filter with a little resonance, and CH2 uses a 6dB / Oct filter with no resonance, along with a bactrol. Although there are individual differences in the characteristics of the low pass gate using vactrol, CH1 has a shorter decay and can be said to be a more aggressive character.
The output of CH1 is internally connected as the input of CH2, and this internal connection is disconnected by patching the cable to the input of CH2. By using this internal connection as it is, it can be used as a role like VCF → VCA of a typical monosynth since the 1970s.
Just like Optomix, it has a Strike input. Just by inputting a gate, you can fully open the bactrol and create a snappy decayed sound. It can also be used like accent input. CV processing is also possible because of DC coupling.
