Intellijel Designs uMIDI

uMIDI is a MIDI-analog signal conversion module that provides the functionality needed to synchronize and control modular scan from computers, iOS devices, and MIDI hardware. Menu operation is not necessary, and it can be used easily with two buttons.

The upper section outputs associated with the clock, one is 1/16, and the second clock can output by setting the number of divisions. Run and Reset outputs are patched and used for the sequencer's corresponding inputs.

The lower section is equipped with one set of outputs needed to control single voice in MIDI.

Insert a MIDI or USB cable, learn the MIDI channel, and play all you have to do. When you press the LEARN button and then send something midi note, uMIDI will convert and output the MIDI notes for that channel. The LEARN button also remembers the current MIDI channel and clock split sit-down by pressing and holding, and automatically calls the setting on reboot.

Firmware Update

The steps for updating the firmware are as follows:

1. Turn off the module and unplug all connected cables.
2. Connect the USB cable to the computer from the back of the module.
3. IntellijelPageOpen the updater downloaded from and select the module and version from the drop down.
4. LEARNPress and hold the button to power the module back on.
5. At the bottom of the updaterUpdateThe progress bar begins when you press the button, and when the message "Update completed successfully" appears at the end, the update is terminated.
6. Reboot the modular will work with the new firmware
