MUSICAL FEATURES

Pamela's New Work Out is an updated version of Pamela's Work Out, a high-functioning clock module. The traditional operational nature and functions have been added, including tunable LFO wave forms, non-integral modifier, Euclidean rhythm, one channel preset, and the unsigned two-line CV control. The display also became an OLED.In addition, two types of expanders, which can be converted into Din Sync and MIDI output clocks, can be connected, and the use of mastars as a mastarc lock has been improved.

  • 10-300BPM
  • Modifiable Modifiers can be set8 ClockOutput
  • Modifiers can be set from /512 to x48.Non-Integer Modifieris also available.
  • The clocks that are printed are not just simple gates, but triangles, signs, envelopes, random-based things,a variety of wavycan be output
  • Adjust gate height, pulse width, skew, etc.
  • You can set the clock phase, so that you can specify when you want the clock to appear in the same interval. You can also set up complex swings by deferring each of the output to n by one.
  • Euclid sequence and skippingFiltering output by output can create a rezumm sequence that goes beyond the clock.
  • Two-line CV inputand all parameters for output per channel are available for sign.An offset or an attenet for the input CV can also be internally set to each Assignee.

How To Use

Basic operations

Synchronize with external clock
To synchronize Pamela with the external clock, enter the external clock in the upper left Clock input. To change the external clock slender by default to change to 24PQN, press the Program knob for approximately one second during BPM display. The next one is a Run input. When the input gate becomes high, the clock is running, and it stops when it becomes a law.It can also be used as a normal reset input by setting.

BPM Display Mode and Modifier Display Mode
Main BPM is displayed when the power is powered onBPM Display Modefor the When you turn the encoder from the BPM display mode, the CH1Modifier display mode, CH2, the modification mode of the modification, and the change in the mode.

Modifierare the clock dibByads and the factor of the multilevel factor. Setting the clock to the speed of the speed in BPM is multiplied by the x-to-x, by channel, by channel, and it becomes the basis for setting up the output rhythm in Pamela, where x times or 1/x of the clock is called a modification. If the clock is to be retrieved once in 16 times, the modifier is "/16" and the modification is triple-multiplication = "* 3".A non-integer modifier is also available in the new Pamela so that it can accommodate sticky notes and renaders. The default modifier is x= 1, and BPM=120, the clock is printed twice a second.

Edit modes for BPM and Modifiers
When you press the encoder in the BPM and Channel Modifier display mode, you are in the mode to edit the value of the parameter.

When you press the encoder in BPM display mode,BPM Edit ModeThen, turn the encoder, change the BPM, and press the encoder again to return to the BPM display mode.

In the modification mode, when you press the encoder,Modifier Edit ModeYou can then turn the encoder to change the value of the modifier. The value of the modifier can also be a number other than the normal "/16" or "* 1.3", and you can select the following special settings:
  • -Always set ON or always OFF
  • -Settings that outputs a pulse only to the start
  • -Settings that output a pulse only at the time of the stop

You can also choose "CV1" or "CV2" to control it in your CV.The controls in the CV can also be used for all other parameters that you set for each channel.See the description of the CV control below because it is possible to set an offset or an attenet.

Synchronize with external clock
You can use it as a basic clock if you learn to do so far.If synchronizing with the external clock, patch the clock to "Clk", select the "PPQN" setting from BPM display mode and select the "PPQN" setting, and set the PPQN to the appropriate value. For more information on PPQN, please refer to the "Detailed Settings in BPM View Mode" below.

Advanced Settings

In the display mode of a BPM or a modifier of a channel, a long pressing of the encoder results in a more detailed entry editing mode.

Advanced settings in BPM display mode
In BPM display mode, you can use the encoder to change global settings and perform a full set of preset management by holding the encoder.
  • PPQN:Sets the relationship between the external clock and the length of the note. The default 24PPQN (24Pulses per Quarter Note) is a setting that is the length of a 4-minute note when the external clock enters 24 pulse. The clock, such as DIN SYNC, is this setting. When using a 16-minute note in the clock, select 4PPQN because the 4-minute note is four-clock minutes.
  • RUN?: Sets the RUN input at the gate to control the RUN/STOP (the default) or the reset input
  • SAVE:Save all eight of the current channel settings somewhere in the a-z bank.
  • LOAD:Read the entire eight channel settings from somewhere in a-z.
  • RESET:Reverts the entire eight channel settings to the default

Advanced settings in the Mod Modification mode
In the modification mode, you can extend the encoder to refine a parameter other than a modifier, or to perform preset management for the channel unit.

  • Wave: Choose from the Gate/Triangle/Sine/Envelope/Random output wave form. One wave form is around the output clock.
  • Level:Sets the output clock voltage peak 0-100 % (5V at 100 %)
  • Width:Sets the width of the output waveform. When the waveform is a LFO wave other than gate (square) gatewaveform morphingto make it smooth and deformed smoothly.Example: Sankakubo = > Nokogiri wave. And when the waveform is enveloped,Lilly Timeto set the
  • Phase:strait the starting point of the output waveform. The clock interval is the same, but the timing depends on the topology.
  • Delay:Specifies the amount of delay in the clock's output timing, only once per the number of times specified in the Dly/ after it is specified.
  • Dly/:Specifies how many times the clock is delayed by the Delay Time.If the modification is * 4 (or * 2) and Dly/ is 2, then increasing the Delay from 0 will result in a typical swing-like rhythm.
  • Slop:You can set the size of the timing shaking.
  • EStep: Pamela's New Workout can output a Euclidean sequence by performing Euclidean filtering on the clocks that are output. At this time, the Estep specifies the clock number of the length of the loop, and the Euclidean algorithm automatically determines the sequence so that the number of clocks that are output within the loop is Etrig.ERot allows you to change the start point of a loop
  • Etrig: Specifies the number of beet ON in the loop of euclidean sequence
  • ERot: slop the start point of the loop in the Euclid sequence.
  • RSkip:Specifies the amount of skip
  • Loop:You can set the number of output clocks to be reset before being reset. These will be applied to random-related parameters, and to reset the Euclidean sequence.
  • Save: Saves all of the current modifiers and detailed settings anywhere from a1-z8 to 26 x 8 slots. A to Z correspond to a global bank. Saving to the slot of C8 will change 8 channels of the global 8 output bank C that manages the encoder from the BPM display mode.
  • Load:Load channel settings from any of A1 to Z8
  • Reet:Return channel settings to initial settings

CV control
Each channel modifier and all of the parameters other than save / load / reset that can be accessed from the detailed settings can be assigned to two CV controls. It can also be set internally, such as the attenuator and offset. You can also assign 1 CV to different parameters with different utantbert values or offset. CV1 only responds to positive voltage.

The CV assignment method turns the encoder to match values CV1 or CV2 at the time of setting the values of each parameter. Here, you can set the strength of the computed CV (ATN) or CV (0) value. You can also monitor actual CV input (value).
