MUSICAL FEATURES

The Z5000 is a multi-effect module equipped with algorithms such as reverb, delay, modulation, pitch shift and harmonizer. In addition to commonly used delays and reverbs, there are also more unusual and experimental effects.

HOW TO USE

Algorithm selection

The choice of algorithm is the same as ZVerb and EchoZ. The 24 algorithms are stored in 3 banks for every 8 algorithms. Press and hold the button of the bank you want to recall, then press the bank button to switch the algorithm in the bank in order. The calling algorithm is displayed as a red / yellow combination of the three buttons. The last called algorithm in each bank is remembered.

Controls and inputs and outputs

Modules are mono-in and stereo-out. Because the module is usually used at the last stage of the patch, the output level is set close to the line level which is smaller than the modular. If you have modular audio, the output will be at normal line level when the input gain is around 0 o'clock, and above that level will be higher than the line level. The parameters that can be controlled are as follows. CV input is for Feedback / Mod and Filter, and TIME / FIDELITY can be CV controlled by the corresponding jack when selected by switch.
  • Time: Controls reverb decay, delay time, modulation LFO speed, etc. according to algorithm
  • Filter: Sets the cutoff of the filter in the algorithm
  • Mod: Set the modulation intensity and speed according to the algorithm
  • Fidelity:  Affects sound by controlling the speed of the analog clock driving the DSP
  • In: Set the input level
  • Mix: Set dry / wet balance
