Amplitude & Tone Controller is a module with both Vactrol-based low-pass filters and VCA with discrete circuitry. It is characterized by a very thick and warm sound quality, but the control of the filter can also be done relatively delicately.By adjusting the input gain and resonance, the filter can be self-ossirate or distort the signal before the VCA input. It has both exponential and linear CV inputs. If you set the Amplitude knob to 0 and patch the envelope to exp.cv, the envelope is also internally connected to the filter, so adjusting the attenuator to work like a resonance low-pass gate.
