Quad Envelope is a 4-channel AHDSR (Attack / Hold / Decay / Sustain / Release) envelope. Each channel works completely independently. In addition to AHDSR parameters, parameters that can be selected with a switch can be set for each channel. Use the Env select buttons at the bottom to select a channel before editing.
The envelope setting time can be switched from Slow / Fast / Tempo Sync with a switch. In the case of Tempo Sync, the time is set in synchronization with the input clock. In addition to the normal ADSR, there is also a Hold stage, and you can control the time (Hold time) to stay at 100% height before decay

"Gate" and "Loop" switch the trigger mode for each envelope. The difference in operation depending on the state of the button is as follows
When the Loop button is off
- Gate button off: Performs once from the beginning to the end of the envelope (0 sustain time)
- Gate button on: Sustains while gate is high
When the Loop button is on
- Gate button off: The loop continues (0 sustain time) and the loop is retriggered by the gate input. It becomes a resettable unipolar LFO.
- Gate button on: Loops only when the gate is high. Can be used as an envelope to hit repeatedly
If you press any button of CH2-4 while holding down the CH1 button, that channel will be linked to one channel, and the envelope of the channel linked by the gate input of CH1 will also be gated.
The Quad Envelope has a clock input, and the operation of the five parameters of the AHDSR can be recorded and looped for each channel in 16 steps synchronized with the clock (
automation). Select the channel to record, and move the slider while pressing the RECORD button. Move the slider while pressing CLEAR to clear the automation. The reset input is used to reset the automation sequence. The automation sequence direction can be changed for each channel.
Also, it can be linked with Varigate 8 + / 4 +, and when sharing the same power bus, you can do the following.
- If not patched to CLK, Varigate clock will automate
- Saving presets on the Varigate side: Saving on the Varigate side allows you to save the automation sequence on the Varigate side. At this time, the number of presets that can be stored depends on the Varigate side
