MUSICAL FEATURES

Japanese manualThere is.

Pico VCO is an oscillator that can select 32 types of waveforms. Two waveform banks can be selected with a switch. One bank contains 16 waveforms. The waveform can also be controlled by CV. You can also use it as an LFO by switching the switch. The frequency range of the VCO is 30Hz-5kHz, and the frequency range of the LFO is 0.1Hz-20Hz.

CALIBRATION

The 1V / Oct tracking of the Pico VCO is done using the following process, rather than using a trimmer like an analog oscillator. This adjustment is usually done at the factory and is unnecessary, but if necessary, proceed as follows: (You need a tool that can accurately output 1V and 5V. Use a quantizer or keyboard CV output.)

  • Power down the modular system to which the Pico VCO is connected
  • Outputs 1.000V voltage. If it is a keyboard, the pitch CV output when C1 is pressed will be 1V.
  • Turn both the Pico VCO's WAVE and TUNE knobs all the way to the right and set both switches to the top.
  • Power on Pico VCO
  • Patch the 1V voltage created above to the 1V / Oct input of the Pico VCO
  • Flip the VCO / LFO switch down.
  • Change the voltage output from 1V to 5V (increase keyboard octave, increase quantizer input voltage)
  • Move the VCO / LFO switch up. This completes the calibration
