MUSICAL FEATURES

Japanese manual (pdf)There is.

Pressure Points (PP)It is an expander to make a sequencer.

Input a clock signal to the Clock input to advance the step, and reset to return to the last touched step. It also has Run and Dir inputs, so you can create a sequence phrase that exceeds 4 steps with one unit.

Also, you can move to the desired step by pressing the touch plate during the sequence even in the PP connected Brain. Usually, it moves at the moment of touch, but if a clock is input to Touch Clock, it will only move at the timing of that clock, so you can move to any step while keeping the timing exactly.

One Brains can be connected to two PPs at the same time, and when connected to two, it will be an 8-step sequencer. A ribbon cable for that is also included. See below for the connection method.

Connenction

  • Jumper setting when using Pressure Points alone without connecting to Brains.

  • Jumper cable setting when connecting one Pressure Points to Brains. Remove all jumpers below the center of the PP and connect the ribbon cable (with the red stripe down) to the connector just above the Brains power connector. Also remove the back of the PP and the upper left jumper. And, as you can't see in the photo, the upper jumper on Brains (upper right in the photo below) looks in the same direction as the photo and covers the left two of the three pins.

  • Jumper cable settings when connecting two Pressure Points to Brains. Remove all jumpers below the center of the two PPs, connect the ribbon cable (with the red stripe down) to the two connectors just above the Brains power connector. Also, for one PP, remove the upper left jumper on the back. For the other PP, remove all three "4 MASTER" jumpers. And as you can't see in the picture, the jumper at the top of the Brains is on the right two of the three pins, looking in the same direction as the picture.
