MUSICAL FEATURES

High-performance MIDI→the CV/Gate transform that can be used in various settings is a 64-step sequencer and a Creative MIDI Converter module entered with a SH-101 similar to the SH-101 and the digital orator. The output DA converter is 16 bits and can output a high-precision pitch CV.

All of the various settings are done in a simple operation by rotating and clicking the encoder.Use this option to select the option that you want to set by turning the encoder around and then clicking again to determine the value or setting of that option.

All settings can be saved in eight presets.Save and load the S (AVE) or L (OAD) menu after the encoder is accessed (preset 1 is always loaded after the module is powered on).

Interface

A description of each part is displayed with a mouse over.

Laede

Yarns will have four CVs and four Gate output in the output.8 Voice with up to 4 Boyce, 2 Yarns.in the required state. It is possible to have MIDI→analog transformations in various settings such as 2 voice, 1 voice, and 4-trigger mode.

In Yarns, how do you convert MIDI to CV/Gate? The biggest setting.Layout"I call it".This setting is determined by the "LA (YOUT)" option of Yarns (see the description of the knob for options setting). The layout has decided which MIDI channel contains a number of voices, and the MIDI channel is referred to as "part".Also, Boyce is the melody of one monophonic tone.

After the LA (YOUT) option is selected, the preference values that you can choose are as follows:
  • 1M: Converts a monohonic sound.
  • 2M: Converts two monophonic sequences. The two will be different MIDI channels.
  • 4M: Converts four mononophone sequences. The four are different MIDI channels.
  • 2P: This is a duo-fonic mode that converts up to two notes at the same time on one part (MIDI channel).
  • 4P: This is a quadrafonic layout that translates up to four sounds at the same time on one part (MIDI channel). It is possible to convert the four chorts.
  • 2 > 4 >/8 >: These are the layouts that chain two Yarns by a MIDI cable and emit a number of voice.2 >, 4 >, 8 > One Yarns outputs a count of half (1,2, 4) of the voice.
  • 4T: The Quadtria Layout.Prints a trigger signal by reacting to only on-off of one scale for each of the four parts.

In each layout, the output signalling will look like the image below.

The Modulation CV "Modulation CV" is the modulation wheel, and "Assignable CV" outputs the value of the MIDI signal that the user can be assigned to.

For information about the layout and output settings, see the "Options" section below.

Clock and Tempo

You can set the tempo by selecting an optional TE (MPO).The tempo is a BPM unit, and only the bottom two digits are displayed. The number flashes on the tempo at the time of the setting. If you turn the encoder to the left of 40BPM, it is displayed as EX (TERNAL) and can be synchronized to the external MIDI clock. The internal clock is capable of swinging.Set from the SW (ING) option.Although the layout of 1M, 2M, 2P, 2 >, 4 >, 4T allows the output of the clock, it is possible to output the split clock to the MIDI clock. Set it with the O/ (OUTPUT CLOCK DIV) option. It is also possible to set the tempo itself as a clock split.Set it with the I/ (INPUT CLOCK DIV) option. In the layout of the 4M/4P/8 >, it is possible to replace the gate 3/4 output with a Clockout.Set from the C > (CLOCK OUTPUT) option.

Arpeggo

In Yarns, when code is typed in each part, it is decomposed into Alpageo.Alpezio's settings will be accessed from the following options. In the setting item, "EUCLIDEAN ~" is the three parameters that are given to the Alpesegio rhythm generation when the Euclidean algorithm is selected (the Euclidean algorithm determines the rhythm pattern when it is given three).
  • C/ (CLOCK DIV): The clock setting of Alpesio.
  • G - (GATE LENGTH): The length setting of the Gate of the Alpégeo.
  • AR (ARP RANGE): Sets the alpégeo range in octaves.Arpégio is not valid when zero.
  • AD (ARP DIRECTION): UP, DN (down), UD (up & down) RA (NDOM) mode, PL (AYED) in the order in which they were pressed, and CH (ORD) are the gated chord effect mode.
  • AP (ARP PATTERN): Sets the rhythmic pattern for alpégeo. If the below E-is not 0, this setting is disabled and is a rhythmic pattern with the Euclidean algorithm.
  • E - (EUCLIDEAN LENGTH): Use the Euclidean algorithm to set the loop length of the rhythm pattern. The Euclidean algorithm is not valid when 0.
  • EF (EUCLIDEAN FILL): The Euclidean algorithm sets the number of "ON" - of-rhythm patterns of the rhythm pattern.
  • ER (EUCLIDEAN ROTATE): Use the Euclidean algorithm to set the start position of the rhythm pattern.

Oscillator

Setting the OS (CILLATOR) option to a waveform other than OFF will result in the output of the internal Yarns onboard onboard. The destination is as follows:
  • CV4 in 1M layout
  • CV3 and CV4 in 2M or 2P layout
  • CV1, CV2, CV3, CV4 in 4M or 4P layout

Sequencer

Each part also serves as a 64-step monoonophone sequencer. The input method is done in a way that is found in the SH-101, etc., by pressing one of the buttons on the MIDI keyboard attached to each step or on the Yarns. To start typing, press the REC button. For a layout with multiple parts, such as 2M, 4M, you can select the part you want to record here.If you want to exit the input, press the REC button again.

For input, type one of the following for each step:
  • Note: Enter the MIDI key board by pressing it.The BeloCity is also recorded. Also,And you can push the pitch and push it down, and you can type it in the slide.
  • Thailand: Enter the tie that continues to increase the previous sound by pressing the START/STOP button.
  • Closed: The TAP button takes you to a rest (REST).
You can also return to the previous step by turning the encoder during input. If you press the encoder, you can select the notes, etc. you want to enter, so you can program the sequencer without the keyboard.

Once entered, the START/STOP button allows the sequence to be replayed and stopped. Also, the sequence synchronizes to the external MIDI clock in synchronizing to the external clock. If you enter the MIDI note during playback, the sequence will be transpoded (translated). If you press the REC button during playback, the sequence is not changed, but if you enter the MIDI note, the MIDI note replaces the step at the time of the replay of the sequence.

The sequencer cannot be done at the same time as Alpégio.Note that if you press START/STOP or Yarns receives the MIDI start message, then the sequencer is launched and stops alpégio.

Options

Layout and MIDI relationship options

  • LA (YOUT): Select a layout.
  • PA (RT): If you have selected a layout with more than one part, you can set the active part to which you want to set the preferences.
  • CH (ANNEL): The setting of the incoming MIDI channel.
  • NO (TE): Sets a note for each voice in the 4T layout that creates four triggers with a different MIDI note.
  • > > (OUTPUT MIDI MODE): MIDI OUT is set to the output of OFF/THRU/ Alpegator (or sequencer). It is also used in a chain of Yarns in 2 >, 4 >, 8 >.
  • VO (ICING) is the setting for working with multiple voices in a single part, such as 2P, 4P, 2 >, 4 >, 8 >.
    • PO (LY) transposes a voice like a regular polyphonic synthesize.
    • The CY (CLIC) notes will cycle through the voice and are assigned to you.
    • RA (NDOM): A note is assigned to a voice at random.
    • The notes are assigned to the lowest level of VE (LOCITY), in the order of the BeloCities.
  • NP (NOTE PRIORITY): The priority of the note when a number of keys are pressed. This can only be set with monofonic layout where a single voice is assigned to one part. The LO (W) est and the HI (GH) est take precedence over low keys and high keys.LA (TEST) takes precedence over the key that was pressed most recently.

CV, gate and trigger related options

  • LG (LEGATO): This is a legacy of Legato.Valid for 1M, 2M, 4M layout.ON causes an overlapping note to be printed as a legacy, and does not emit a trigger signal at the start of the connected MIDI note.
  • PO (RTAMENTO): Adjusting the speed of the Portamento (time-based).
  • BR (BEND RANGE): Set the range of the picchbeend in half-tone units.
  • VR (VIBRATO RANGE): Sets the range of Vibrato (the range of the Modulation Wheel).
  • VS (VIBRATO SPEED): Sets the speed of Vibrato.
  • T - (TRIGGER DURATION): Adjusting the length of the triple pulse.
  • T* (TRIGGER SCALING): Set the only valid setting for 4T to determine how strong the strength of the trigger signal will be to the beleossed.
  • T/ | (TRIGGER WAVESHAPE): Outputs the waveform of the triger pulse in a variety of forms. It is normally SQ.
  • CV (AUX CV OUT): In the layout with "Assignable CV" output, set what it is to be assigned to the output. Choose from the AT (AFTERTOUCH), the BR (EATH) controller (MIDI CC# 2), PE (DAL) (MIDI CC#4), and the Modulation Wheel and the Vibrato Speed option LF (O), which allows you to set the speed and speed.
